Jim Romeo has been hazmat certified and is trained in all facets of environmental safety during his employment with HVCC and GM.
Our solvent cleaning tank is contained and serviced by Safety-Kleen corporation. The dirty solvent is picked up and remediated properly and not dumped or discarded.
We use state of the art Ultra-Sonic cleaners that use only mild soap and water as cleaning agents.
All waste fluids (oil, gas, brake fluid, anti-freeze etc) is contained in a sealed barrel and picked up by Safety-Kleen and remediated properly.
We sell and encourage the use of non Ethylene Glycol based coolants.
We recycle all of our cardboard which arrives daily. All cardboard is picked up and recycled back in to new cardboard products.
All of our waste tires are picked up by BDG which is a company that shreds them and makes rubber running tracks. We pay for this service and do not pass this on to our customers.
All of our waste metals are taken to a metal recycler and not disposed of in the landfill
All of our old batteries are picked up by a battery recycler which in turn recycles the lead and plastic.
All shipping "peanuts" are saved and given to the UPS store so that they can be re-used.
